PRM – REDUCED MOBILITY CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE

Pursuant to Regulation 181/2011, station management entities cooperate with carriers to provide assistance to persons with disabilities or reduced mobility, subject to certain conditions.


At the Bus Station, a free assistance service for passengers with disabilities and reduced mobility (PRM) is available by reservation. This service is provided at the request of the traveler in coordination with the carrier that will carry out the transport.

It is noted that TIBUS’s PRM assistance is limited to defining the pick-up point and accompanying passengers to the buses. The travel conditions reserved for companions and the PRM themselves are regulated by the individual carriers.

The service is offered by TIBUS with a view to continuous improvement, to increasingly effectively meet the needs of the travelers it is aimed at:

– Persons with walking difficulties

– Persons who move in wheelchairs

– Pregnant women

– Blind and deaf persons

– Elderly persons

Important notice: In the case of a traveler who requires assistance and is not self-sufficient, the service may be subject to the presence of a personal assistant at the bus station or an accompanying person during the journey.

For any needs related to the PRM assistance service:

Call 06.442595 – standard rate number from landline and mobile networks, available from 05:00 to 24:00 (including holidays).

Service Procedures

– The PRM assistance service must be requested at least 48 hours before the desired day;

– If the use of an elevator platform is necessary, the request must be made at least 7 days prior to the service. The longer notice is required because Tibus will need to contact the company providing the chosen transport service in advance.

What to include in the request sent via email:

– The travel dates, outbound and, if applicable, return;

– the transport company to be used;

– the type of assistance (with or without elevator platform, with wheelchair provided by Tibus, other useful information);

– a phone number where the customer can be contacted, if necessary, for travel organization within twelve hours prior to departure.
